Rick Ross Released From Jail On $2 Million Bond

Rick Ross was released from jail after spending a week behind bars.

As reported by AJC, the MMG general was granted bond after agreeing to forfeit his $5 million mansion if he violates the conditions of his bond by intimidating a witness or obstructing justice.

Ross, real name William Roberts, was arrested on June 24 for kidnapping and assault charges. The arrest stemmed from an incident on June 7, in which the rapper allegedly pistol whipped and detained a man, believed to be his groundskeeper, injuring his neck and jaw. According to the arrest warrant, “The victim lost use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as a result of not being able to chew food."
